How to make obliques: where to start?

If the abdominal muscles are very weak, then intensive exercises to form a beautiful abs will not bring the proper result. At the first stage, you need to improve muscle tone, prepare the body for more complex workouts.

Simple exercises to strengthen the abdominal muscles:

  • Vacuum – allows you to significantly reduce the volume of the abdomen, strengthen the muscles of the press. Exhale slowly, while the abdomen should be pulled in strongly. Exhale, continue to retract the stomach. Stay in this position for at least 15 seconds.
  • Bending to the side is a very effective exercise for shaping a beautiful waist. The slopes should be rhythmic, the hand slides down the leg. The body should lean clearly to the side – it is forbidden to tilt it forward or backward. Perform 3 sets of 30 slopes in each direction.
  • Rotation in a standing position. Put your feet shoulder width apart, spread your arms apart. Slowly turn the body left and right, do not bend the back. Perform 10 twists at a slow and fast pace.
